We sincerely apologize, but due to an unforeseen emergency, tonight’s event is canceled.
Are you passionate—or even just curious—about the US immigration system and its justice considerations? Are you interested in learning more about racial inequities in immigration law? Do you want to practice asking questions and speaking truth to help counter false assumptions or narratives? Join us for a FREE virtual Clinic community conversation on racial inequities and immigration justice, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM EST on Thursday, August 12th. Listen to an immigration expert's perspective, and engage in an interactive discussion with others from the Clinic family who care about these issues.
Our guest speaker is Dominique Poirier, the Director of Legal Services at a DC-area nonprofit called Just Neighbors. Just Neighbors provides high-quality immigration legal services to low-income immigrants, asylees, and refugees in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia; they build community among clients, staff, volunteers, and the larger society through education, advocacy, and volunteerism.
Register today by clicking the button below! You will receive the link to join us in Zoom the week of the event. Please be on the lookout for an email with instructions.
P.S. While this event is completely free of charge, your gift of any amount will help us continue promoting justice for our low-income immigrant neighbors. If you would like to make a donation, please visit www.nclegalclinic.org/donate, and mention this event in the comments. Thank you!
