Session 1 - Immigration in 2021: Where We Are & A Look Ahead
In this session, staff attorney David Frank will review key changes to U.S. immigration law in 2020 and 2021. He will touch on major administrative challenges in the areas of DACA, asylum, public charge burdens, naturalization, and coronavirus-related policy in 2020. He will also evaluate current and expected rules for 2021 concerning migration, reunification of families, citizenship and permanent residency, law enforcement, and possible new pathways for relief.
Session 2 - Supervised Parenting Time
In this session, staff attorney Detria Tate will give an overview of Indiana’s supervised parenting time statute. She will also provide an analysis of relevant caselaw on the subject.

David Frank, is a staff attorney at the Fort Wayne office of Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic. He represents low-income Hoosiers in housing, immigration, and other poverty law matters. He has worked with the Clinic since January 2020. He may be reached at dfrank@nclegalclinic.org.
Detria Tate, joined Neighborhood Legal Christian Clinic in October 2020. She attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications. She then attended Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where she earned her J.D. Soon after graduating from law school, she began practicing in the public interest at Legal Aid District Eleven, Inc. in Columbus, Indiana. Detria’s current practice focuses on assisting survivors of domestic violence with immigration and family law matters.
