Refugee Adjustment (RAD) Day | 1 CLE credit

  • IPS Newcomer School 3725 North Kiel Avenue Indianapolis, IN, 46224 United States (map)

Refugee Adjustment Day (RAD) aims to address a growing need in the Indianapolis immigrant community -- that of helping refugees apply for permanent residency without the financial burden of hiring private attorneys. Volunteering this Saturday provides a chance to be part of one of the most significant milestones of many refugees' lives.

Rachel Van Tyle, Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic Staff Attorney, will deliver a presentation on how to appropriately complete forms I-485 and G-28.

Volunteer opportunities are available for attorneys and interpreters (Burmese, Arabic, French, Spanish, Hakha Chin, Karen, Karenni, Tigrinya, Amharic).
