  • Brookside Community Church 1035 North Olney Street Indianapolis, IN, 46201 United States (map)

Connect as a community around the stories of ex-offenders living in Indianapolis and how we can aid them as they adjust to life after incarceration.

Our neighbors with criminal histories feel powerless as they try to get a fresh start. Unable to secure necessities such as a driver’s license or employment, many formerly incarcerated individuals find it difficult to start again. Using a video storytelling format and panel discussion, this event explores how educating ex-offenders about their rights to resolve legal burdens—with help and on their own—can help them reclaim a sense of power.

Videos will be available for viewing from 6—7:30pm with the panel discussion beginning at 7pm.

Walk-ins welcome, but RSVPs encouraged by Nov. 8.
