Au revoir, October!

This October, we celebrated a record-breaking Justice For All Gala, featuring keynote speaker and NYT best-selling author Bob Goff. Leading up to the event, Board Member Matthew Barr shared his thoughts on why his firm, Barnes & Thornburg LLP, chooses to financially support the Legal Clinic. After the event, we summarized some of the best JFA highlights and shared a video featuring a client family that survived a genocide in Ethiopia. This month, we also welcomed Congresswoman Susan W. Brooks to the Clinic when she stopped by for a visit! On the blog, we shared the story of a veteran who came to the Clinic for legal help by way of the Hoosier Veterans Assistance Foundation (HVAF). And we introduced you to the work of Project GRACE with clients with criminal records. The video stories of these clients will premiere during the upcoming Spirit & Place Festival on Nov. 9 at Brookside Community Church from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We hope you'll join us to hear their stories!
