The Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic assists hundreds of survivors of crime each year. These clients face unique legal challenges, most notably in the areas of Immigration and Family Law. This year’s annual Immigrant and Victim Justice full day CLE, "Representing Survivors in a Poverty Law Setting,” will seek to explore the scope of the legal challenges survivors face while equipping legal professionals to respond to these challenges.
Participants will learn about (1) Relief Options for Immigrant Victims of Crime, (2) Basics of Removal, (3) Indiana Crimmigration, (4) CHINs Cases, (5) Housing Hot Topics, and (6) Family Law Ethics.
Lunch provided - 12:00 PM
