Attorney Volunteering

Opportunities

The Clinic relies on volunteer attorneys licensed in Indiana who provide pro bono service. Opportunities are available to attorneys of all backgrounds. Some require specific legal experience, especially in the Clinic's current service areas. Volunteer attorneys work under supervision and are covered by our malpractice insurance.

    • Assisting with the “Consult with a Lawyer” general consultation rotation

    • Teaching at a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) workshop

    • Assisting with open cases and partial casework under a staff attorney

    • Helping us build training resources for staff attorneys and other volunteer attorneys

    • Providing mentorship or guidance for a staff attorney on a case

    • Serving at a one-day legal program

“Consult with a Lawyer” Program

Attorney Sessions

You can choose from 2 session times for the “Consult with a Lawyer” Program.

  • This volunteering opportunity is every Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Clinic’s office.

  • This volunteering opportunity is on the first Saturday of each month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Shepherd Community Center.
